The Savannah Music Festival and Plant Riverside District will continue the popular Savannah Music Festival/District Live Series with a special live performance featuring The Sensational Barnes Brothers. This series is an ongoing partnership between the Savannah Music Festival and Plant Riverside District that is designed to expand year-round live music options for Savannah-area residents and visitors.

The Sensational Barnes Brothers offer a musical blend of old and new and are a true gem in the contemporary gospel/soul scene. As PopMatters observes, “The brothers run through a spectrum of moods and modes in their gospel soul, often bridging the gap between, say, the Soul Stirrers and Stax, all the while keeping a local flavor.” The brothers dive deep into their roots, creating a vintage-inspired sound that draws in a modern-day audience.
