THE CORNER TABLE

Nov 25, 2024 01:27PM ● By Jan Southern
Whether you're a resident of Richmond Hill or just passing through, there's plenty to see and do.

Family-friendly parks feature hiking trails for you and your dog, golf, swimming, and a historical museum. With such a wide variety of dining options available, I'd like to share just a couple with ya’ all.

Bubba’s

3881 US-17, Richmond Hill, GA 31324
Tuesday - Thursday 11 am- 8 pm Fri-Sat 11 am - 9 pm
Sunday Brunch 10 am - 2 pm

Now here is a full-service restaurant that exudes Southern hospitality. While they stay
true to their coastal heritage cuisine, they also infuse it with the exciting twists of city
culinary experiences. Owner/chef Mark is always in the kitchen, creating fresh
farm-to-table offerings with a flair for fun. Their menu is a celebration of the flavors of
the South; make sure to try the Mother Clucker, an authentic dish of love, of
southern-style fried chicken prepared to order. The wait for this delicious dish is part of
the experience, so be prepared to wait at least 20 minutes. I recommend enjoying one
or more of their shareable appetizers while you wait. Bubba's offers an outdoor dining
area with large tables for your party and a full outdoor bar, games, and a TV. The best
part is that the patio is pet-friendly, so even Fido can enjoy the fun.

All Things Chocolate and More

10471 Ford Ave, Richmond Hill, GA 31324
Mon 10 am -4 pm, Tues- Fri 9 am - 5 pm, Sat & Sun 10 am - 4 pm

Don't let the name fool you; All Things Chocolate and More offers an enormous amount
of specially made chocolates and an all-day breakfast with egg paninis, croissant
sandwiches, egg platters, and omelets. The Lunch menu includes soups, salads,
sandwiches, and exciting appetizers. Try the Brie pastry: melted brie in a croissant,
along with fresh strawberries and jam. Finish everything off with one of their specialty
coffee drinks, smoothies, or slushies. And remember...... chocolate, take home your
personally chosen selection. I always do.

The Green Spork - A Seed to Table Presentation

10747 Ford Ave STE 10, Richmond Hill, GA 31324
Closed on Sundays Monday - Saturday 7 am - 6 pm.

This spot caters to vegetarian, vegan, soy, and gluten-free people. The owner/chef,
Blake Young, of the Green Spork ensures that most everything is created in-house,
locally sourced, and hand-chopped. Just a few GF items are brought in for their retail
space.

Exciting choices include amazing paninis grilled on their homemade gluten-free bread
and locally sourced greens and vegetables for their salad bowls. There are also so many
healthy smoothies to choose from, with the ability to create your own. The marketplace
within is ever-changing with soaps, honey, artwork, and locally sourced produce, so
while you wait for your food, take a brose.

TOSA COFFEE SHOP

10076 Ford Ave, Richmond Hill, GA 31324
Open M-Sat 6-3 Sun 8-2.

Looking for a unique experience? Tosa Coffee Shop is it. Indulge in a fresh cup of
smooth, full-bodied coffee accented by the fact that they roast their beans in-house. The
pastry case at Tosa Coffee Shop is a delightful sight. It offers various muffins, pastries,
and even gluten-free options, all created daily to guarantee freshness. With their
knowledge and passion, the baristas here make the coffee experience perfect; taking
the time to explain many of the seasonal favorites, along with the multiple types of
coffee. Tosa isn't only for the coffee lover; they also offer a wide variety of tea drinks.
There are so many choices. Sipping that freshly created cup immersed in the
atmosphere makes this a must-do place.
