Ships of the Sea Maritime Museum is pleased to welcome author Ships of the Sea launches its new Tales of the Sea lecture series with historian and author Jonathan M. Bryant, Professor Emeritus at Georgia Southern University, and his new novel, The Slaver’s Apprentice. Bryant will explore the Savannah and maritime history behind the book and share how years of historical research shaped his move into fiction. A book signing will follow the lecture.
